If I had to describe Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 in one word, it would be “present.” It’s here. It exists. Unfortunately this episode doesn’t bring much to the table unless you’re into girl talk in the netherworld.
Where can I watch Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11?
The only legit place that I’ve seen this anime located is on Crunchyroll. I found another site but it requires you to have a Crunchyroll account to stream it. From what I can tell, if you’re in the United States your only option will be Crunchyroll.
If you don’t already have an account there and you don’t want to set one up, you’ll just have to wait until this episode becomes free next week. Just be prepared for some commercials.
How was the story in episode 11?
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 is pretty much a stand alone episode. Except for the beginning, it doesn’t really tie in to what’s been going on in season 2. Yes, I guess that there are events from Welcome to Demon School that are referenced, but we don’t get anything that looks like it’ll get continued.
The focus of episode 11 was mainly on Clara, Ameri, Elizabetta and Keroli. Their girl time was enhanced by drinking the tea Ameri had prepared for Iruma. The tea was designed to help the drinker say things that they’ve always wanted to say. I think Iruma dodged a bullet if you ask me.
The first part of the episode was just a wrap up of the exams. The Misfit Class learned that they all passed and none of them have to take supplementary classes. It was about as obvious a result as possible. Once Kalego started talking about how disappointed he was I knew right away what the result was.
What did Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 get right?
The only part of the episode that actually got me interested in what was going on was the interaction between Kalego and Balam. Apparently Balam is the only other teacher at the school who’s on the same level as Kalego. The way in which Kalego says it makes me think that there’s something else there. We were led to believe that the two were good friends, is that really the case?
Besides that, I wasn’t too invested in what was going on. Yes, the humor present during the girls-talk was a little entertaining. Iruma being the love interest of a lot of the girls is going to cause some awkward moments. I’m sure someone out there will be very interested in the debate over who Iruma will end up with. That’s not really my focus though.
What did episode 11 get wrong?
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 just feels kind of bland. I don’t have a good picture of what’s coming next. There are still ten more episodes in this season and there’s been nothing to suggest where Iruma and friends are going from here. Well, I guess there’s the next episode preview, but even that doesn’t really hint at a larger story.
This is the first time in a while that I’ve watched one of Welcome to Demon School‘s episodes and wanted it to just be done. It doesn’t help that it came out on the same day as the most recent My Hero Academia episode. Maybe Welcome to Demon School can learn one or two tricks on how to lead an audience on to the next episode from Midoriya and friends.
Is Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 worth watching?
I want to say yes because I do like this anime as a whole, but I just can’t do it. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 11 is just boring. It’s not bad, it’s just bland. I need to go watch something with a little more excitement now.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 12 preview
Kalego gets to go visit his students at their homes. If Sullivan wasn’t incredibly powerful, there’s no way he would’ve agreed to do it. As I mentioned in my review of episode 11, it doesn’t look like episode 12 will add too much to the larger story. It’s just another opportunity to add some ridiculousness to the anime.
The reason that I say that in this case is because Kalego is shown to go to the Valac household first. We already know that Clara and her family are about as silly and outlandish as they come. For Kalego, there could not be a group that’s any more opposite than him. I could be interesting to watch. We’ll have to see.
Now go watch some anime!
