Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2 Episode 7 Review

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7 makes me wonder if I even want to see the old Iruma come back. If Iruma stays under the effects of Ali’s curse, he might just end up running the netherworld. He’s and the rest of the Misfit Class are well on their way to getting access to the most exclusive classroom in Babyls.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 2 Episode 6 Review

What do you think about what’s going on here in episode 7?

I think that the premise of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7 is fun and interesting. The Misfit class has three days to collect 37 signatures. The trick will be to get the teachers who are allied with Kalego to sign their forms. Watching the students succeed in this task is what draws you in to the story.

Everything about episode 7 feels like Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is giving us an anime episode that is more in line with a serious, intellectual thriller. Iruma and his classmates have to come up with unique and unexpected ways to get obstinate teachers to go along with their plan. Watching them succeed makes you wonder why they’re in the Misfit Class to begin with.

Everything builds up to the end of the episode where all but one signature has been created. What that means is that we can looks forward to watching Iruma and friends take on their homeroom teacher, Kalego. From the very beginning, this was obviously going to be the outcome. Now we just have to wait until episode 8 to find out the conclusion. Either way, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7 did a good job of getting us to this point.

What did you like about Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7?

I’m glad that we got to see Iruma is still the same person at his very core. Iruma may have an edge to him but he’s still considerate when it comes to others. He takes the time to help out the janitors, he takes a selfie with Sullivan and Opera, and his speech to Ameri about his motivations was heartwarming. Iruma in his evil cycle is cunning, intelligent, sly but still good at heart.

Probably my favorite part of Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7 was watching the students in the Misfit Class outwit their teachers. Iruma sent the best suited students to take on the most difficult teachers. This is started with Iruma and Jazz “acquiring” Kalego’s journal. From expertly played board games to scintillating conversations, everyone manages to convinces their targets to go along with their plans. It’s just fun to watch.

What did you not like about episode 7?

I can’t sit here and say that there’s something that bothered me about Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7. Maybe it’s because I’m on vacation now and I’m just relaxed. Perhaps it’s because that I’m rushing during a down period to get this review out that I haven’t noticed anything. I just really enjoyed watching Iruma gather together his classmates and outsmart the entire faculty of Babyls.

Is Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 7 worth watching?

There’s no way that you can read the previous paragraph and think I’m going to say anything other than “Yes.” I just had a lot of fun watching this anime episode and I’m looking forward to the showdown coming up in episode 8. Once this is done I wonder how long it will take for Iruma to go back to his old self.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun season 2 episode 8 preview

Episode 8’s title is “The Miracle of Some Fools.” Just the title alone makes me think that Iruma and the Misfit Class are going to be successful. The class comes face-to-face with Kalego again. I assume this time it’s for the purpose of getting him to sign their permission form. Will there be a debate, or will some kind of battle break out? Things look fairly peaceful but it looks like Iruma will walk away from things with a sinister mastermind’s aura. It should be a fun episode!

Now go watch some anime!
